Responsibilities:
- Perform Requirements Engineering
- Participation in System FMEA
- Define and document electronics architecture
- Define test cases for electronic system integration and coordination of Electronics Integration Test Engineer
- Perform electronic system integration and perform electronic system integration test according to defined testcases
- Define the EE System Integration Test Document
- Definition of wire harness electrical scheme
- Define the Plant Engineering Interface
- Customer coordination for the EE-System
- Supplier coordination in case of ECU sourcing
- Provide project specific System Rest bus simulation
- Creation of calibration data
- Support EMC Testplan Activities
- Generation and Management of Electronic System work products (product releases) in PLM Tool
- Implementation of the Software part for test controls for Homologation and TAPE devices based on requirement specifications given by the user (Vector CANoe so-lution)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field – is a must
- Proven experience in requirements engineering within electronic systems or automotive environments – is a must
- Experience working on automotive lighting (lamp) projects – an advantage
- Strong knowledge of electronic system architecture design and documentation – is a must
- Ability to define, execute, and document test cases for system validation
- Familiarity with EE System Integration Test documentation processes
- Experience in designing wire harness electrical schematics
- Understanding of plant engineering interfaces and production-related constraints
- Experience in customer and supplier coordination, especially in ECU sourcing
- Knowledge of rest bus simulation tools and methodologies
- Experience in calibration data creation and management
- Familiarity with EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) testing and test plan support – a strong advantage
- Experience working with PLM tools for product data and release management
- Programming and scripting experience for test automation and control systems
- Practical experience with Vector CANoe or similar automotive network simulation tools
- Understanding of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional and international teams
- Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
