Responsibilities:
- Prepare and monitor project schedules and Concept Sheets.
- Manage project costs, including BOM, investment estimates, RFQs and cost-reduction activities.
- Work closely with suppliers on timing, costs, DFM and supplier nominations.
- Lead the preparation and management of Technical Specifications, DFMEA and DVP.
- Manage and monitor product weight throughout the project.
- Manage product structure and SAP data.
- Coordinate interfaces between project teams and suppliers.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in project engineering within the Automotive industry.
- Experience in the development of automotive seats or lighting systems.
- Proven experience working closely with suppliers, including RFQs, cost management, timing and DFM.
- Experience in project coordination and cost/weight management.
- Ability to work effectively in an international, cross-functional environment.
- Fluent English
- Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
