Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and monitor project schedules and Concept Sheets.
  • Manage project costs, including BOM, investment estimates, RFQs and cost-reduction activities.
  • Work closely with suppliers on timing, costs, DFM and supplier nominations.
  • Lead the preparation and management of Technical Specifications, DFMEA and DVP.
  • Manage and monitor product weight throughout the project.
  • Manage product structure and SAP data.
  • Coordinate interfaces between project teams and suppliers.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in project engineering within the Automotive industry.
  • Experience in the development of automotive seats or lighting systems.
  • Proven experience working closely with suppliers, including RFQs, cost management, timing and DFM.
  • Experience in project coordination and cost/weight management.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international, cross-functional environment.
  • Fluent English
  • Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
